As part of a drive to increase responsible use of antibiotics, Arla are investing in training both vets and farmers in the skills and knowledge to successfully apply Selective Dry Cow Therapy.

Andy Biggs MRCVS , a recognised expert in mastitis control, will deliver a practical workshop focusing on

  • Herd and individual thresholds and criteria for cow selection
  • How to perform the technique and train farmers in SDCT
  • How to get SDCT working without complications at cow and herd level

Please note that these meetings will count as 2 ½ hours of CPD
